Founder
I found pottery while looking for a creative outlet that could fit alongside being a lawyer, a mother, and a person with a very full life. I loved it almost immediately.
But my pottery journey was never linear.
I’d take a class, start making progress, and then stall. The next class I needed might sell out in minutes, or require me to be somewhere every Tuesday at 7 p.m. for eight weeks. My life just doesn’t work like that.
And I realized I probably wasn’t the only person who wanted to get better at pottery without organizing my entire life around a class schedule.
That’s what led me to build SuperHuman.
I wanted a studio where you can keep learning at your own pace with classes, workspace, equipment, firing, and support available as your practice grows. I also wanted to create an ecosystem where professional artists share space and resources with other members of the ceramic community.
SuperHuman honors what I love most about pottery: it demands your attention, it makes you deal with imperfection, and it gives you endless chances to learn new things and try again.
Superhuman is the studio I wanted when I was trying to figure out how to keep going.
